  • Changes to improve frequency and punctuality

First West Yorkshire has announced changes to selected services in Leeds from Sunday 3 September which will see an increase in journeys on 23 routes across the city.

The changes have been made to improve frequency and punctuality on key corridors and support communities with better connectivity for work, education and leisure trips.

There will also be more buses on the 72 and X6 services between Bradford and Leeds which will see an increase in early morning trips and late journeys up to midnight.

Full details of the changes can be found on the website https://www.firstbus.co.uk/leeds/news-and-service-updates/service-updates/service-changes-3rd-september

Kayleigh Ingham, Commercial Director of First West Yorkshire, said: “We are delighted to introduce these enhancements to the network with more frequency and better reliability for customers.

“Our network team has worked hard to develop these improvements. We are excited to see the customer reaction to greater frequency and anticipate growing the number of passengers travelling with us.”
