First Leeds

First Leeds is the largest fleet in the First West Yorkshire business with buses operating from two depots in the city. More than £50m has been invested in the last three years to introduce ultra-low emission buses into Leeds.

In October 2020 it launched the first zero-emission fleet in West Yorkshire and more all-electric buses were added in September 2021. These latest vehicles are used on Stourton Park & Ride, which opened on the south side of Leeds and is one of three in the city that First Leeds operates in partnership with West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Leeds City Council.

The city’s first demand responsive transport (DRT) service, FlexiBus East Leeds began in autumn 2021.
